There's nothing "GOP" about getting a job, knock it off. I already stated that it's not easy to get work. If you think that getting a job gets easier the longer you are out of work than I don't believe a thing you put down here, in fact the "proof" you give to an unemployment agent that you're looking for work is: Unemployment agent, "are you still out of work"?, YES; "Did you have ANY work last week"?, NO; "Did you seek full time employment last week"?, YES. I've been unemployed to pal so don't lay that political smoke screen down on me. Further, YOUR taxes don't pay into unemployment insurance AT ALL. Your FORMER EMPLOYER pays the tax so YOU get payed. YOU pay FICA, Income Tax, MEDICARE tax, state, local, and maybe city taxes. My STATE income tax, and everyone else's state taxes (Whom are working) pay the salaries and fund the buildings and logistics of that place you go to declare that you looked for work last week, or are you on MAIL CLAIM by this time(I bet you are) By the way, What "GOP MEMO" are you talking about anyway? Before you try and vilify someone get your facts right bub. P.S Unemployment benefit laws are different in EACH state(I actually checked, did you?)and the federal extension would have come out of MY pocket, not YOURS, because your not working(not that there is anything wrong with that)
