Fact is stranger than fiction category as this blog provides direct correlation between radio celebrity Rush Limbaugh and the George Orwell character Emmanuel Goldstein from his novel 1984.

If you are a fan of Eric Blair aka George Orwell and his novel 1984 then you will probably begin to see some straightforward similarities between the novels fictitious antagonist, Emmanuel Goldstein, and the not so fictitious and very real modern day radio celebrity, Rush Limbaugh. Without giving away the store, take a moment to think about the times that you have heard the press, progressive groups, congress, and yes, the president himself attempt to blame Rush Limbaugh for failures within the progressive platform. I'll bet you could come up with at least one. Now, let the transformation of Rush Limbaugh into the real life Emmanuel Goldstein begin as a series of "Letters to Goldstein" composed and submitted by "Winged Pegasus" presented for your approval.

'America's Newsroom' Guests 'Tilt Markedly To The Right' On Fox News: Howard Kurtz


Why would you doubt a post of mine. I've read you and I'm very surprised at your attitude. Be nice now!



As far as the "claim" , lets start right here at The Huffington Post dated 16 May 2010 and updated on 17 May 2010. The Title of the article is "Class Warfare: Hundreds protest Outside Bankers House in DC". What should be noted is that Gregory Baer the owner of the house is not a banker, he is an attorney. Also, it was a Sunday afternoon and Baer was at a little league ball game when the protest took place. The only one home was a twelve year old son who had locked himself in the bathroom and called the police on his cell phone and explained that he was going to be attacked. A few neighbors also called the cops. In Bears own words, he stated that he saw the mob(when he returned from the baseball game), drove around the block, parked on a parallel street cut through back yards, climbed in a back window and got his son out the window. He didn't confront the mob(would you?)
